Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the AgentShield website and initial enquiries. AgentShield is a service provided by SteikTech. A signed proposal or statement of work governs every paid assessment and takes priority over these website terms.
1. Business service and website information
AgentShield offers productized AI security assessments primarily for businesses. Website content is general information and does not constitute legal, compliance, or security assurance for a specific system.
2. Enquiries and formation of contract
Submitting a review request does not create a contract or obligation to perform testing. A service begins only after scope, authorization, timing, access, fees, confidentiality, and deliverables have been agreed in writing.
3. Authorization and safe testing
Testing is performed only with written authorization for systems the customer owns or is permitted to test. The customer must provide accurate scope and access information. Production testing requires explicit written approval and agreed safety limits. We may pause testing if it creates unexpected operational or third-party risk.
4. Customer responsibilities
The customer remains responsible for backups, system operation, lawful data access, third-party permissions, remediation decisions, and informing relevant personnel. Credentials should be limited, temporary, and revoked when no longer required.
5. Reports and confidentiality
Findings are point-in-time results for the agreed scope. Reports may be shared internally and with relevant customers, auditors, or advisers, subject to applicable confidentiality terms. Neither party may disclose the other party’s confidential information except as agreed or legally required.
6. No guarantee of complete security
AI systems, models, prompts, retrieval data, permissions, and connected tools change over time. An assessment cannot identify every possible weakness or guarantee security, compliance, uninterrupted operation, or protection against every attack. Retesting is recommended after material changes.
7. Fees, liability, and governing terms
Fees, payment dates, warranty obligations, liability limits, termination rights, and governing law are defined in the signed proposal or statement of work. Mandatory statutory rights and liability remain unaffected. Unless otherwise agreed and where legally permitted, German law applies.
